At the moment, it is still only possible to do this via the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/instagram\/id389801252\">app<\/a> and not on the site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up, you need to open the app where you will be taken to your newsfeed\/home screen. At the top of this you will see a box with a plus sign in it &#8211; this is the icon that enables you to select the kind of post you would like to create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/routenote-licensing-blog\/1\/2020\/11\/8105136c-igscrnsht-1024x330.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1045 lazyload\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you hit this icon, you will be taken to a screen with scrollable options for type of post will display at the bottom. You can choose from a feed post, story, reel or live. Once you have scrolled along to live, you will be shown how many of your followers are currently active. You also have the ability to give your livestream a title, to let users know what it will be about, as well as select a fundraiser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/routenote-licensing-blog\/1\/2020\/11\/5d4d17e2-iglive-826x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1046 lazyload\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you&#8217;re ready to go, just tap the button highlighted at the bottom of your screen and your livestream will begin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking to <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/blog\/how-to-gain-instagram-followers-fast\/\">increase your following<\/a> on Instagram, engagement and <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/blog\/what-are-the-best-times-to-post-on-instagram\/\">activity<\/a> is vital.
