Support and settings vary by model, so check the camera\u2019s manual before buying cables or a capture device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you need for a camera-to-computer setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common HDMI setup uses a camera, a compatible HDMI cable, a video capture device and a computer running streaming software. The cable connects the camera\u2019s HDMI output to the capture device\u2019s HDMI input.
