At RouteNote Licensing<\/a> we highly value great speakers, and we love being able to take our music with us even more. Sonos is, unsurprisingly, hard at work on new models to add to their strong range of Wi-Fi speakers. Last year saw the company release its first Dolby Atmos-equipped premium soundbar, the Sonos Arc<\/a>. Now, according to a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filing, Sonos is working on its second Bluetooth speaker, and it’s good news for people who find themselves often on the move. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judging by the FCC filing, this new speaker is set to be a modification on 2019′ Sonos Move<\/a>. This was the company’s first portable speaker which offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The filing shows plans for a rechargeable battery, wireless charging dock and cylindrical design. This could suggest 360 degree sound design, similar to that of the UE Boom<\/a>. Current information hints at the ability to, like the Move, use the speaker whilst it sits on the charging dock and connect it up to your other Sonos devices, like the One or Beam. A smaller design also gives the impression that this design is more focussed on portability. Whilst the Sonos Move is portable, its 6.6lbs weight makes it great for taking it to the garden or from room to room, but maybe not much further afield. However, this new offering could see us given the chance to take that great Sonos sound out and about. This means we could fire up Sonos Radio HD<\/a> in the park, by the pool, or anywhere we like! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
