Here&#8217;s how to get verified on Facebook!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you start, you must adhere to Facebook&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/terms.php\">terms of service<\/a>, and requirements listed below to be eligible for verification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Authentic<\/strong>: Your account must represent a real person, registered business or entity.<\/li><li><strong>Unique<\/strong>: Your account must be the unique presence of the person or business it represents. Only one account per person or business may be verified, with exceptions for language-specific accounts. Facebook don&#8217;t verify general interest accounts (example: Puppy Memes).<\/li><li><strong>Complete<\/strong>: Your account must be active and have an about section, profile photo and at least one post.<\/li><li><strong>Notable<\/strong>: Your account must represent a well-known, often searched person, brand or entity. Facebook review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources, and they don&#8217;t consider paid or promotional content as sources for review.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>How to verify your Facebook page\/profile<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to Facebook&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/contact\/342509036134712\">verification contact form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The form will ask if you&#8217;re representing a page or a profile, what category that falls into (Music, Fashion, Digital Creator etc.), and what country you&#8217;re based. <br>You&#8217;ll also need to provide a form of identification that differs depending on the account type you are verifying. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your account represents a person:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A valid photo ID that shows your name and date of birth (i.e. driving license or passport)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your account represents something other than a person, provide a document with an official seal\/watermark of your organization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Your organization&#8217;s phone or utility bill<\/li><li>A certificate of formation<\/li><li>Articles of incorporation<\/li><li>Tax or tax exemption documents belonging to your organization<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve entered as much information as possible, hit the send button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>How long will it take to get verified?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Facebook doesn\u2019t specify the typical timeframe, you could get a response as soon as 48 hours or wait up to 45 days.
