Here&#8217;s how to get verified on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/\">Instagram<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re going to run you through how to get the little blue tick in a few simple steps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to following Instagram&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/581066165581870\">Terms of Use<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/477434105621119\">Community Guidelines<\/a>, your account also needs to be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Authentic<\/strong>: Your account must represent a real person, registered business or entity.<\/li><li><strong>Unique<\/strong>: Your account must be the unique presence of the person or business it represents. Only one account per person or business may be verified, with exceptions for language-specific accounts. Instagram don&#8217;t verify general interest accounts (example: @puppymemes).<\/li><li><strong>Complete<\/strong>: Your account&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/365041933611384\">must be public<\/a>&nbsp;and have a bio, profile photo and at least one post. Your profile can&#8217;t contain &#8220;add me&#8221; links to other social media services.<\/li><li><strong>Notable<\/strong>: Your account must represent a well-known, highly searched for person, brand or entity. Instagram review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources, and they don&#8217;t consider paid or promotional content as sources for review.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Only some public figures, celebrities and brands are able to obtain <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/733907830039577\">verified badges<\/a>&nbsp;on Instagram. Not all Facebook Pages with verified badges have verified badges on their Instagram accounts. Use the name that people generally know you as.<\/li><li><strong>Category:<\/strong>&nbsp;You can choose from news\/media, sports, government\/politics, music, fashion, entertainment, blogger\/influencer, business\/brand\/organization, or other.
