Copying and pasting lengthy links can be tedious. Now, there’s a smooth and simple way to share YouTube<\/a> videos on Snapchat<\/a>. Here’s how!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the social media world, the general narrative is platforms hurriedly scrambling to keep up with TikTok<\/a>. However, the stories feature you find on most channels actually originates from Snapchat. In fact, TikTok only just rolled out a snap-style stories<\/a> feature a couple of weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snapchat has developed a lot since its birth, offering a news feed full of different types of content. Users can see what’s going on all over the world, as well as learning hacks and tips from the discovery tab. You could also share your favourite YouTube videos on Snapchat with friends too. Although, the original method for doing this was kind of convoluted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To share a video on Snapchat, you’d have to copy the link from YouTube first. Then, you’d have to open the Snapchat app and take your photo. From here, you could either paste the link or use the paper clip icon and type in the URL manually. So, whilst you could share videos, it wasn’t the most seamless process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easily Share YouTube Videos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You are now able to share videos to snaps or snap stories without having to copy and paste the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you have to do now, is find the video you want to share on YouTube and hit the Share <\/strong>button. Select Snapchat<\/strong>, and you’ll be redirected to the app. The video will automatically appear in your camera as a sticker. This will show the name of the video, name of the channel, and a thumbnail. Previously, a small banner would only display the video name and a much smaller thumbnail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you take your picture, you can mess around with the size and position of the YouTube video sticker. Anyone who sees your snap or story will be able to click on the video sticker, which will take them to the YouTube app, where they can view the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
