His first major release, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/deep-heads-vip\/lyndon-jarr-play-the-tape-free-mastered-download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Play the Tape<\/a><\/em>, with respected UK label <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/deep-heads-vip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deep Heads<\/a> became an overnight success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after, Jarr went on to release his debut EP <em><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/7zKzJIFk0iQ9ZENc0eWqmK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Django<\/a><\/em>, which is now available on <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RouteNote Licensing <\/a>via <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/smallprintrecordings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SmallPrint Recordings<\/a>. Django features a wide range of musical styles, however the liquid drum and bass track <em><a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/track\/fantasy-2\">Fantasy <\/a><\/em>is this week&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/collection\/synchedin-spotlight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RouteNote Licensing Spotlight<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/collection\/synchedin-spotlight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spotlight <\/a>track begins with mood setting chords, accompanied by a speech sample between 2 star-crossed lovers. <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/lyndonjarr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lyndon Jarr<\/a> doesn&#8217;t waste any time before introducing an exhilarating <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/collection\/drum-and-bass\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">drum and bass <\/a>groove. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vocal chops, presumably cut from the previously heard speech sample, satisfyingly cut across the mix. The treatment of samples &#8211; and the approach to sampling in general &#8211; is an ever-evolving trait in all of Jarr&#8217;s music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Roughly a minute into <em><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2fQz2lb7N1ctOSeIkj4zOp?si=cc0fca1eccea4013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fantasy<\/a><\/em>, a brilliantly dusty, chopped up keys sample enters. As more sample layers build, it&#8217;s easy to hear how well this tune could bring a <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/collection\/royalty-free-montage-music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">montage <\/a>or <a href=\"https:\/\/licensing.routenote.com\/collection\/background-music-for-highlight-videos\">highlight reel<\/a> to life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A brief atmospheric interlude, accompanied by the afore-heard speech sample, returns us to a more liquid DNB realm. The brilliant drum groove returns, dishing out massive <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/5Wfn5sc1w3DhMTpU7oPJZL?si=UArXTTsURuiZt6qp7dpR_w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LTJ Bukem<\/a> vibes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jarr&#8217;s recent releases have taken a more garage and alternative approach.
