ROOKS is centered around singer-songwriter Don Rooks. This versatile musician has been seen on Holland's bigger podiums as a drummer. Now however, he is showing a completely different side of himself, with the spotlight on his love for the Dutch language. With personal lyrics and a great voice, he takes the listener on a journey like one can only do in their native language. His open and approachable stage presence ensure that an evening at a ROOKS show is sure to be a great time. ROOKS' music can be described as Nederpop (Dutch pop), with country influences. Artists like John Mayer or Chris Stapleton come to mind, while Dutch influences from de Dijk or Acda & de Munnik can be heard.
