Synchedin is now RouteNote Licensing: What’s changing (and What Isn’t)
We wanted to share this important update with you.
Synchedin has officially transitioned into RouteNote Licensing, bringing everything under one clear, unified brand.
Synchedin has always been owned and operated by RouteNote.
What’s changing now is the name and the platform focus.
Why make the change
By consolidating Synchedin into RouteNote Licensing, we’re simplifying the experience and making it clearer what the platform is built for: proper, personal and commercial-safe music licensing.
This isn’t a change in ownership or direction — it’s a refinement.
What’s actually changed
- The Synchedin brand has been retired
- The platform now lives fully under the RouteNote Licensing name
- One platform, one purpose, one name.
What hasn’t changed
A lot — and this is the important part:
- ✅ RouteNote still owns and operates the platform
- ✅ Existing licenses remain valid
- ✅ Usage rights are unchanged
- ✅ The same creator-first licensing principles apply
If you used Synchedin before, nothing has been “reset” or lost.
What this means for artists and rights-holders
For artists and catalog owners, this consolidation means:
- Your music sits within a clearly defined licensing ecosystem
- Stronger brand recognition and trust with creators
- Better long-term positioning for sustainable licensing revenue
It’s about clarity, not change for change’s sake.
What do you need to do?
Nothing complicated:
- Existing Synchedin users can continue as normal on RouteNote Licensing (using your existing credentials)
- New users can explore music, SFX , collections, and licenses all in one place
- Support and documentation are now fully unified under the RouteNote Licensing brand
One team. One platform. Clear licensing.
SynchedIn was always powered by RouteNote — now the name reflects that reality.
Welcome to RouteNote Licensing.
